What do you all think?
I have always assumed I would wear my hair down, or half up/half down with loose curls/waves, however I am loving bridal up dos as of late.
When I dress up to go out I always style my hair down, or half up half down. should I do what I am comfortable with or do an up do? I feel most comfortable with hair down but being such a formal occasion, should I go out of my comfort zone?
What are you all doing?
I am undecided on a veil but am having a sparkly hair accessory regardless, if that makes any difference. thanks!

I love my hair down… but I intend on partying and didn’t want my hair getting gross as the night goes on. So, I am going to wear it all up in a updo but something soft, not pulled too tight. Here are pictures from my hair trial…

99% of the time I will vote for an up-do for your wedding, this is no exception!

I rarely wear my hair up in my normal life. However, I chose a formal updo for my wedding. I did not want my hair hanging in my face in pics when I leaned over to do things such as hug people or cut the cake, etc. I also didn’t want to have to worry about my hair getting messed up throughout the day. Finally, I wanted my wedding pics to be as timeless as possible, and I thought an updo would best deliver that look for me, so that’s what I did.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to wear mine up. I always wear it down, but I have a few reasons to want it up. First of all, I think it’s really elegant and I want to wear a statement necklace so it will show up nicely with my hair up. Second, my hair is really fine and gets tangled easily, so if it’s up I won’t have to worry as much about that. I’ve seen pictures of brides with their hair down at the end of the night and it usually doesn’t look great. Finally, I don’t necessarily want to look how I look every day, so something a little different would be nice!

I would say it depends on your dress. Some dresses look better with your hair up, and others don’t.
Have your hair stylist play with it. Show her the dress and say “Just go with your gut”. 9 times out of 10, it looks fantastic and just the way you’d want it to. And if it doesn’t, try again!

I have extremely long, wavy hair- like down to my waist long.
I grew it out partly just because I love having long hair, but partly because I was thinking how beautiful it would look done professionally for my wedding.
But, like I always do, I ended up changing my mind and went for an up-do. I loved the back of my dress so much, I didn’t want to cover it up- and when else am I going to have a pro style my hair like that? I wear it down all the time.
I ended up *loving* the way it came out on my wedding day, and I’d do it 100 times over. I have insecurity issues about my apparance just like everyone else, and I find that I tend to use my hair as a security blanket sometimes- I use it to ‘cover up’ my face/myself. So putting it up and seeing how beautiful everything turned out anyway was a real confidence booster.
