It really depends on the size of your head and the sort of fullness you are going for. You could probably get away with 4 or 5 ounces, but I would say you should purchase at least 6 just to be safe.

you have to buy the closure piece separately.  i dont use a closure, but I do get my whole head weaved, and I use about 6 ounces… i like my weave really full and i have a huge head.  i would reccomend just buying 2 packs (and I would steer you away from the closure piece.  a good stylist can do it without one).

I’ve heard a lot of good things about hairsisters.com. I’ve ordered phony ponys and wigs from there, but I have seen that it can be a pain in the ass to return items, though.I’d just make sure you know exactly how much you need before ordering.

i buy from http://www.hisandher.com/default.aspx. i live in LA so i just go to the storefront, but they ship also.   the sell the hair in a wide variety of textures – in LA everyone wears weave (white, black, asian, hispanic, everyone LOL!) so they will probably have your texture available.

the more pricey avenue, would be to purchase directly from a hair vendor.  ive done this once.  the hair was like $53 an ounce and I bought exactly the amount i needed.  i dont think these guys have websites though…they usually come into the salons with the hair.

im not sure about their return policy, but i have had nothing but positive experiences.
