Hello Bees!
I will be getting married in October of 2016 and I would love some help deciding how to move forward with my haircolor. Right now, my hair is a highlighted honey color (in pictures below). Before I had this honey color, my hair was natural dark brown (also in pictures below). I know that I will not be getting married for a while, but I want to figure out how I should move forward with my haircolor until my wedding. Should I keep my hair this honey color, tone it to a more ashy tone, go back to my natural dark brown, ombre, or anything else?
I would really love to hear some opinions. This has been something that I haven’t been able to make a decision about for a couple months now. I do not want to dye my hair dark again if I will be dying it light for my wedding. I also don’t want to upkeep the light color if I am going to end up dying it dark for my wedding.
So… What haircolor do you think I should have now and moving forward for my wedding?
Thank you Bees for always being so helpful 🙂

francinejoelle: No one can make this decision except you…however, I will say I think both colors are extremely flattering on you! I honestly think you pull both off very well. I suppose it depends on how much you care about looking “natural” on your wedding day (not that I am advocating this…I am naturally mousy brown and had fiery copper hair on my wedding day).
I wouldn’t advise ombre if you plan on wearing your hair up. Sometimes the contrast can look very strange in certain updos.

I actually LOVE the darker hair on you! The bottom left photo is my favorite. Really makes your features stand out

Dark curly hair is my favorite but you look great with all looks!

francinejoelle: you could dye your hair neon green and you’d still look amazing…. But the honey brown is my vote. I like the variation in your curls.

I love the dark!! Although I agree with PP that highlights in the honeybrown will make your updo or curls really visible. Either will look great

I’m gonna say go back to the dark brown hair color and I love your hair in its curly state (I’m pretty biased about curly hair). Dark brown hair works with your skin tone and gives you this glowy look. The honey color to me washes your skin out.
