Yes, especially to get rid of split ends!

My hairstylist is planning to take off about an inch a week before my wedding.  We’ve been putting it off a while since she wants it to look ‘fresh’ for the wedding 🙂  No biggies, get rid of those ends!

You can also have your wedding hairstylist cut your hair, that way she’ll cut it to the perfect length that she needs to work with.  I was going to do that…. before my stylist overbooked and put me on a different stylist but that’s a whole different thread!

@laurn88:  I didn’t mean on the actual day, but that’s a good question to ask her!!  I’m sure it wouldn’t be much of a problem to do that.  Didn’t realize your wedding was in a week!

yeah, 2 inches is nothing. i tell my customers that’s like a pretend haircut, lol. and a lot of times, once the hair is up (if that’s what you’re planning on doing) you can’t tell how long the hair actually is anyway. and if you’re leaving it down, it’s definitely a good idea to cut off all the dry/split ends.
