@renwoman:  Enjoy your new “shopping with girlfriend” experience! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m a very girly girl but I’m a bit of a nerd too and my best friend is a guy so I can relate to you there – the only “girl” I ever went out shopping with is my mother! lol

The great thing about make up is that you don’t have to use tons, especially if you’re not used to it – a little mascara can go a long way! Have fun tomorrow and good luck with your hair stylist ๐Ÿ™‚

I personally look 17 so I don’t let my hair grow passed my shoulders. I think when you already look young people, don’t take you seriously as a professional, therefore my hair won’t be down the middle of my ass anytime soon.

I think you should cut it to your shoulders and that you need to style it bc it will look more polished. You can do a lot with some gel and scrunching.

most people’s hair grows about 1/2″/mo. the thing is…if your ends are unhealthy, they’ll break, and that’s why it SEEMS like hair doesn’t grow. it’s always going to grow from the scalp, but if it’s not healthy, you’ll get something we call a “chemical haircut” (obviously it usually happens bc the hair is compromised due to being overprocessed.)

your hair is long enough that i doubt you’d actually notice 4″ that much. ๐Ÿ˜€ except when you brushed/combed it, and the ends didn’t snarl!

@renwoman:  You can try dry shampoo while you get used to spreading out washes.  I love that stuff!
