Yesterday I had my hair and make-up trial. Lucky for me 2 of my friends are cosmetologists and offered to do my hair/make-up for the big day 🙂 I’m really happy with the overall look. A few things that will be different on the day of is that I will have a few pieces down on the side, framing my face, and I think I’m going to go without a part in my hair and pull it all back. Also, my friend forgot her smoothing serum so there’s definitely some frizz that’ll be eliminated the day of. The make-up will most likely stay as is. Purple is one of the main colors in the wedding so I wanted to bring in a little color in the eye.
Thoughts? Changes? Go!
This last picture was after 8 hours and a few glasses of wine 🙂 Overall I think it held up nicely.

the only changes I would suggest are the ones you already mentioned for your hair. But other than that, I think it’s perfect!

I love both your hair and makeup! The only thing I would change is move the one pincurl right in the middle down about 1/2 an inch.

Wow, I love it! That up-do is really unique and I really love it. I agree, I think it’ll look softer and even prettier with a few pieces pulled out, framing your face. I actually like the part, but think if you prefer without, it’ll look gorgeous either way! And the makeup! I recently got my makeup and hair trial done and thought I loved my makeup, but I’m swooning over yours. Did you use fake lashes? I hate bothering you, but do you happen to have a closer up photo of your eye makeup – it’s so beautiful and elegant!
