I don’t really like it. I think it looks messy and there is definitely too much bump in the front.  Did you express your thoughts to her.

It doesn’t have the sleek, smooth look of the first one. Did you bring up your concerns with the stylist?

Do you have a picture of it looking from the front/straight on? Most of the pictures will be of your face and not the back of your head, so how does it look from the front?

I just think it needs to be softened some and loosened up a bit.

They don’t look similar.  However, I don’t hate what she did.  But if you are going for your inspiration – she was way off the map lol 🙂

I have never used the sally’s extensions, but I am actually ordering realy hair extensions to use for the wedding.  They cost $118 each.  My stylist let me try on a sample and I loved them! They looked so real! But you have such dark hair that you can probably get away with the sally’s versions! I say try them out!!

Ok i didn’t read the post close enough and I was thinking I love the first picture, it looks awesome.  Just realized that is not your trail.  I don’t think it really looks the same.

I’ve never done those hair extensions but my Maid/Matron of Honor has done them with curls and it looked good.  However she did have the dyed blonde hair on top and brown hair on bottom look which I think helped blend it.   With all one color hair, I think those extensions would have to be dead on.

Your hair looks pretty up when you did it yourself! Maybe try a different hair dresser?

You know, a wiglet might be a better idea for that hairstyle! Your hairstylist could just attach it to your head, then work your real hair AROUND it so it makes it look much fuller and lusher than the hairstyle she gave you does.

I have those 18 inch clip ins, they’re by Euronext, and honestly I have used them for formal occasions for about 3 years now, they wear so nicely! you can curl them spray them, straighten them, braid them everything, they look like hair, they fall like hair and they smell like hair which is big, I hated the chemical smell of the fake hair extensions…I even accidentally tossed a few of the tracks in the washing machine with a wedding outfit I had stuffed in my overnight bag, and they still survived and wear beautifully to this day. I did have my hairstylist trim them to an actual hairstyle as opposed to long strips, so they flow better..I have super fine hair and one pack does me fine, you NEVER see the clips.
