Do you have any pictures of how your hair is normally and the dress and veil you will be wearing? I love styles 1 and 3 but sometimes the side-do can look a little silly because it is so far to the side. My first choice is 3 but 1 is beautiful too.

Why don’t you just swtich sides with your Fiance for the ceremony?

@loveispatient54: ah I see.  Well for what it’s worth, there is no tradition that you have to stand on certain sides.  That’s just what everyone happens to do.  We’re actually switching sides for almost this same reason but having the guests sit on the standard side.  that way they’ll be able to see “their person” better and our better sides will be photographed.

Wow youre beautiful! Honestly I would just try out each hairstyle at a trial and see which one looks better on your face. You could either switch the side of your part or switch the sides for the ceremony. Its true that there is no rule saying you have to be on a certain side! Or make sure the photographer can get a few pictures of you from the back side looking out towards the guests?

You’re beautiful!  You can’t pick a wrong hairstyle.

But… for what it’s worth, my personal preference would be the low side bun modified to be a low chignon.  I think it would compliment the neckline of your gown better.  Your dress makes me think of Audrey Hepburn or Grace Kelly~ super classy and pulled-together~ like a french twist.  The first pic comes closest to achieving that type of elegance.

ps* where are you getting your veil?

Just sharing~  food for thought! 🙂

All the images for bateau neckline styles are ballerina type buns, tightly pulled-up into a high bun (not what it seems like you’re going for).
