Its fine we provide lunch to our DJ, main photographer, photo assistant, same-day slideshow guru, videographer. But today…we’ve just been told that if we’re having a projector, we should also hire the equipment supplier’s operator! I find that a ridiculous prospect to pay $230 for, and feed ($60 per supplier) someone who will push a button probably 2-3 times max in 4 hours!
I feel like I have no choice since the company used is the ONLY company that our function room is willing to accept to handle the projector. also, we’re switching from normal slideshow to a DVD, so they think its better to be safe than sorry.
So all up, we’re paying $660 for projector, dvd player, and a man to click the button and make sure it plays. Reasonable or laughable?
