I definitely want a half-up/half-down hair do for my wedding, but at the moment I’m stuck between two hairstyles I found on here. The reason I like both of them is because of how they gather differently in the back. I do want the sides to cover my ears just enough because I have some chanderlier earrings and I’m not used to wearing dangling earrings nor do I like my side profile haha. I also have a crystal headband that is really thin too…and a veil which will be taken off at the reception. So if anyone else has any other ideas of a halfup do that is gathered different in the back besides just being pinned like normal I’d really appreciate the pics. ๐

It is really pretty. My mom and all of my bridesmaids like that one the best. I think the thing I like about number 1 is the smoothness of it maybe? If that makes sense haha.

Those are both gorgeous hairstyles. I can see why you’re having a hard time choosing! I think I would pick number 2 since it is more intricate looking with the weaving at the back of the head. Number 1 looks a little more laid back to me. Have you had/done a hair trial yet? I would maybe test out the two styles to see which one works out better.

I am going to get a hair trial on May 19th for my bach. party, so that way I don’t have to worry about doing my hair! My wedding is June 9th, so I have a little time, but I agree the weaving is pretty neat and one of my bridesmaids is having her hair halfup so maybe by doing this mine will stand out more even though I’m the bride so that doesn’t matter! ๐

I just wonder what the front would look like on style number 2. Number 1 you can pretty much guess.

I like the first one, but just for some variation here are some that I have saved:

Hope maybe those help you a little.

@o0olibelulao0o: That first one is really pretty. I almost took back my headband for a flower type of clip, but decided I didn’t want to bother with exchanging. ๐

@ChrisMarie: I think any of those would work with a headband instead of a clip. ๐
