Halloween itself sucks because I have to work it every year (my part-time job requires us to work a Halloween carnival). However I love the month of October because I get to decorate and do fun crafts with the kids I work with!

I have to dress up for my work carnival but I haven’t decided yet. It has to be something that will keep me warm and is kid friendly/appropriate. I was an 80s girl last year and I’m thinking maybe Tigger this year?

Last year I won a prize as  a Fairy Goth Mother. Goth make-up, black wig, black clothes, black wings, black wand.

I may or may not have purchased a Halloween costume for my dog… lol!! I am not usually that person but it’s our first Halloween with him and we found a football costume πŸ˜›

I looooooove Halloween!  As soon as September hits I get excited!  Last year I was a mad scientist and he was my hunchbacked assistant, but we have not made plans for this year yet.  I’m sure it will be amazing though!  Yay!

I am a halloween fanatic myself :).  We scheduled our wedding so that we could be back from our honeymoon with time to celebrate for halloween.  It’s just a fun holiday!  Plus, halloween tends not to involve a lot of family drama- which is GREAT!!!

Halloween is my favorite!  I’m worried though, by this time last year I had already started on my costume!  This year I have no idea!  I wanted to go as Anna Wintour from Vogue, but my sister “helpfully” pointed out that I am not skinny enough.

I was Lady Gaga last year:

I love Halloween even though I wasn’t allowed to celebrate it as a kid, and that’s the date that we picked for our wedding.

A great place for ideas is http://halloweenforum.com which is very helpful in all aspects.

As for costume ideas this year, I have no clue. I’d like to dress up as Little Dead Riding Hood unless I find something I like better.

@Chillmer: WHAT are those bubbly things?

@Firefighter_Bride: I am TOTALLY excited! I don’t even really do anything for halloween usually but I just love fall. It is by far my favorite time of year and the first cool breezes this weekend got me totally hyped.

@CorgiTales – Christmas ornaments!  Lots and lots of them.  The best is, if you look closely at Gaga’s outfit, you can tell she used the same thing.
