@badabing88:  God, those are so beautifully done. Sailor Jerry-style ftw.

@ifoundmyprince:  I LOVE this. I wanted this ring (well, one like it, haha) and then Fiance shot down my colored stone want. Boo.

@badabing88:  girl, I love your tattoos. I have a few, none visible or too intricate, but yours are badass.

Glad to see some halo love after the recent spat of hate for them.

Here’s my ring:

@badabing88:  love your nails!

I have a halo bc it’s what I fell in love with. People’s opinions of them don’t bother me at all.

@gelaine22:  Thank you πŸ™‚ Boyfriend or Best Friend actually “designed” them (picked the shape/colors and all) πŸ˜‘ He’s quite proud of himself lol

I LOVE the look of a halo. I sent Darling Husband an example of one I had seen on overstock.com, and he took it to a local jeweler and found one almost exactly like it. πŸ™‚ I wanted the diamond to almost sit flush with the setting instead of way up over, so it didn’t snag on the children at work. πŸ™‚

@MrsMaskatoBe:  Love yours! I totally forgot to post my Berricle stand in, which looks soooo much like yours (but with a cushion center):

@MissFemmeFatale:

@MrsMaskatoBe:

Thank you!!  I love it so much, Fiance listened very well to what I wanted – double halo, thin band.

When I was reading the posts that were turning hateful toward halos, I got a little discouraged, so I stopped reading.  It doesn’t make ME love my ring any less, but it made me question whether people were thinking “oh, she wanted her diamond to be bigger so she put halos around it.”  In reality, I told Fiance not to go bigger than 1ct because with the double halo, I thought it would be way too much.  So I guess if I had gotten a solitaire, I would have had a bigger center stone.  I definitely prefer my double halo to a larger stone in a solitaire setting :).  It’s not that I dislike solitaires, and in fact I think they are perfect for some people, just not perfect for me!

@MissFemmeFatale:  I love, love, love your ring! I don’t have a halo but love them. It’s not that I chose not to have a halo – Fiance picked the ring out for me πŸ™‚ nothing but halo love here!

Here’s my halo. After trying on a million different styles, I found that a halo just felt right. Everyone has told me how traditional and classic my ring is. I dont think it’s a trend at all. Fiance and I met with a jeweler. I told the jeweler and my FI what I wanted and I think executed it very well.

I dont know why the bottom right corner looks cut off but it doesnt look like that.
