beb184:  I would go without the halo, but if you want sparkle, do a pave wedding band! I had the choice of putting a halo around my asscher or leaving it plain, so I split the difference and did a thin micro-pave band, because I was afraid that a halo would look SUPER dated in 15 – 20 years. end result? I love my ring, my mother loves my ring, and my grandmothers love my ring. universal appeal.

love the oval. so classy. 🙂

cherylashelton1:  You’re absolutely right. I preferred a solitaire and it’s timeless and perfect. Plus the jeweler warned us of the possibility of the pave diamonds falling out. I love how my diamond stands alone.

No halo definitely. You could always get a cz halo oval just for fun, but if you’ve always wanted a solitaire, go solitaire. Oval looks great without one anyway

I vote halo!  LOVE ovals in a halo with plain shank…just my 2 cents 😉  Think they are timeless & classic with a little xtra finger coverage!

No halo. Let that center stone shine! It is a pretty good sized rock – doesn’t need a halo for more finger coverage.

I love the solitaire! I would do no halo and when getting your wedding band do a full or half etenity to add that extra sparkle to your finger
