I’m a bezel girl.  There were jewelers that said I should do a 4 prong setting, but at the end of the day, I chose what made sense for me.  Maybe it doesn’t sparkle as much, but I love the low maintenance, high security, and the fact that it’s got such a sleek and modern aesthetic.

Team bezel/semi bezel for sure! Little to no upkeep and doesn’t snag or get in the way (may be biased because that’s my jam lol)

I had my stone reset from a prong setting to a bezel and I will never go back to a prong! I love bezels so much. I have a sapphire which isn’t really sparkly to begin with but I think the bezel actually enhances it.

I have an east-west bezel set emerald cut. My fiance went with a bezel setting because I’m a gym rat and he felt the stone would be better protected that way. I had the option to reset it in prongs, but I don’t want to. I love my bezel!

I think the solitare is beautiful but i also love halos and they dont take away from the center stone sparkle at all in fact they add sparkle. Im bias but I love my halo it sparkles like crazy.

I love my bezel setting because it is uncommon and the stone is very secure. My particular setting is very low profile, which I also like.

I have gotten multiple compliments on the sparkle, and my stone is not that big (0.71 ct), so I think it lets in plenty of light through the open bottom.

I’m biased but I think bezel. The reason I chose one is because I like a very sleek simple look and I didn’t want prongs that would get caught on anything. Also, stones are very secure in a bezel. My initial inspiration for my custom ring was actually that very moissaniteco ring you posted, sol387. The nice thing about the design of that particular ring is that because the basket is open LOADS of light gets let it.

Here’s my bezel: (moissaniteco didn’t want to make it in the end so I had it done by Lily Arkwright but used CADs from moco)

Same as above, solitare or bezel!
