My halo is a pave halo and I think it looks very subtle, it doesn’t stand out unless you are looking at it upclose.  Mine is set in rose gold but I imagine in a white metal it would be even less noticeable. I wanted a halo that didn’t compete with my center stone and I’m really happy with the way my ring turned out.

The example you posted is very similar to Tacori’s Dantela setting (below) – it’s gorgeous!  I think that type of halo is called a “bloom.”

I also had a large halo and swapped it out for a smaller, more subtle halo.  My before and after pics are below.  Good luck with your upgrade!

You are looking for a “bloom halo” or a “hidden halo”, I believe.  Very pretty!

I chose a delicate petite pave halo, I like hidden halos too but for bigger center stones like the upgrade u r getting. Mine is a 1.12. I just adore her! Lol

futuremrscrow :  I looked up diamond boy and his work is amazing! The most important part to a good halo is no big gaps between the halo and diamond.

My halo is a thin micro pave, but is a bit larger than most bloom halos I have seen.  I personally wish mine was smaller, but this may be of help if you are looking for something similar.  Mine is custom made (to save $), but I think the original designer is A. Jaffe.

Kings7911 :  gorgeous ring! I think pink stones with rose gold are gorgeous! I have a pink morganite in a very similar setting that’s just beautiful.
