Well I finally picked up my ring and I love it! I took the stone out of my original e-ring and had it set in this gorgeous halo setting. Team halo all the way!

I love halo’s! I feel they add a lot of personality and every halo ring looks different

I think they’re really pretty but not timeless enough for me.

I didn’t want a ring that someone could look at and say, “Must be from 2010’s” etc.

Every jeweler we went to when I said I didn’t like halos said, “Good! They are going to go out of style and look very dated”

adomke:  halo’s are classic and timeless. The one is from the year 1880!

Mine is technically a halo, and the only one I would ever choose for myself, Im not a fan of the more traditional halos but I fell in love with this ring because it’s something different and I love the snowflakey look 🙂

Mrs.Thompson2016:  Your ring is gorgeous! Do you mind sharing where your Fiance got it and what the specs are? I’m also not really a fan of the traditional halo, but you’re right, yours looks like a sparkling snowflake!

Mrs.Thompson2016: Hey, love your snowflakey ring. I don’t mind the traditional halos but I love the one we picked out because it reminded me of a snowflake too ^_^

spazzychica:  thank you!! we got it custom made at a jeweler here in spokane because I couldnt find anything close it in any of the stores I looked at, it’s about a .74 center and another .25 in the setting. my ring size is 4.25 or 4.5.

peonybliss:  I’m so sorry that I’m just now responding to your question — I only get on the Bee every now and then… Thanks for such a nice compliment!  My ering is custom by Christopher Designs.  I had them integrate the shank from one of their pieces and a halo from a J.B.Starr setting that I loved — with several “tweaks” here and there.  🙂  Again, thanks!

I love halos, and I don’t think they’re trendy because mine was custom made inspired by a Victorian era ring on the 1800s.  I always thought I wanted a solitaire until I discovered this beautiful vintage style!

SoonMrsCrocker2:  yes!!!!  That’s what I said!  And mine was designed based off of a ring very similar, so halos can look like the vintage ones too!  Yah.
