I’m commenting because I am exactly the same as you and want some fresh ideas too!!

Sometimes I go for a light pink that has a slighty purple undertone, but that’s as far as I go in terms of mixing things up!

TheGridMonster:  I’m like you. When I do my nails I tend to go more neutral on my fingers. The darkest I have is a bronzy color and that is only in Summer when I have a tan. I go a little crazier on my toes….purples, blues, greens, and sometimes corals.

Guuuuuurl, I am president of the pale club. I wear a lot of dark grays–here are some of my (gel) go-to colors:

OneDayMrsL:  I feel like nails should be fun!  just go in and have your nail person pick the color Or just pick a number and do that color 🙂

Lilac Longing!!

There’s also one that’s a tad more pale than the LL but I don’t know the name. I’ve seen you post pics of your ring and your skintone looks very similar to mine. I normally don’t like colours (I’m a nude girl myself) but the pale purples look really good against my skin.

I’m the same way, but I got a pinkish red gel done and it was gorgeous and went with everything. So, oddly still neutral. Of course when it started to grow out,  not so attractive.

I’m pale white with pink tones and bright reds really suit me and complement my ring too. My hands aren’t pretty so try to ignore that and just check out the tones. It’s a classic colour that never dates.

TheGridMonster:  Ever considered giving your nails a break and just doing a buff-no-polish manicure? Nail polish can be fun, but I really think that clean, natural nails look so classy and fresh. Of course, I work with surgeons, so none of my colleagues are wearing nail polish.

TheGridMonster:  I like Cake Pop! It’s a pale opaque pink. For a little excitement, you could have them do a coat of Grapefruit Sparkle over the top!(sheer gold sparkle without being super glittery)

I’m all about the light pinks and nudes usually too but I also go for deep burgundy or classic red on occasion, I think they both look classy and go with anything.

Go for the bright red! I always love pale pinks on other people, but hate the way it looks on me, so I basically just wear bright red, if I’m wearing anything at al.

I have somehow bought the same shade in red in basically every brand, because it is perfect. OPI: Kennebunkport (Sephora: Mr. Right Now, Essie: Fishnet Stockings, Revlon: Valentine.)

TheGridMonster:  r u a “scandal” fan?  She wears a cocoa and romantic combo, and a cocoa and negligee combo. I usually wear the same pinks u do, but want to try out these combos the next mani I get after engagement photos
