I bought this dress, La Sposa Mariona:
And now I’m regretting it because its a halter top. When I was looking online, I saw this picture:
And I like that a lot more. But I don’t know if I could have mine altered to look like that.
What do you think? I think halter tops just remind me of bathing suits or something, not wedding dresses.

I think your dress is lovely and there is nothing wrong with a halter-style wedidng gown. I actually looked for one because that is the shape that best flatters me in dresses, but I never found the right one and I had to settle for spaghetti straps. On the other hand, I don’t think it would be impossible to alter the neckline if you had a talented seamstress. It might be hard for her to find the right matching lace though.

Thanks…I’m gonna see if she can try it. The train is super long and I’m gonna get it hemmed anyway so maybe she can use the lace from the bottom for the back? I dunno, the woman was pretty blunt in the bridal shop. I’m a little scared to ask her!
