hollyberry4:  Of course you should take it to a jeweler. Do you have a warranty on your ring? Have you checked the wording? The repair might be covered.

Hope your hand is okay!! I would take it to the jewelers and get a professional opinon. Do you have insurance on the rings?


This happened to my mom a few years ago (on their anniversary no less), and it was damaged enough to pop out some diamonds. The entire set had to be cut off of her finger and replaced. Thankfully the insurance paid up for her new set and there was money left over so my dad ended up upgrading his band as well.

hollyberry4:  Oh no! Your poor hand and your poor ring! That looks so painful, and I’m sure it was heartbreaking to see your ERing bent like that. I’m glad none of the stones fell out. I agree with PPs that you should take it to your jeweler right away. Hopefully, they can fix it easily and you’ll find out none of the stones are loose. I also hope your finger is better soon!
