(Closed) Hand delivered Invitation tackiness meter – HELP!!!

Why would hand delivering be considered tacky? Thats silly, deliver them as you see fit.

Just make sure that *everyone* at your Bridal Shower is getting an invite. If not, then I wouldn’t hand them out there.

I don’t see how it’s tacky to hand deliver them all. Makes it more personal IMO.

  • First, I do not think it’s tacky to hand deliver. In fact, I plan to make fabric envelopes and hand deliver my invitations – we’re having a small wedding (only 30-40 invitations to deliver).  For our out of town guest, well I’m still working on how I’m going to deal with those.  
  • Second, I would be careful placing the invitations in the mailbox. I could be wrong on this but I think you might be breaking the law on this.  I would double check with the post office.  I think that’s why you get flyers on your front door vs in the mailbox.

I say take the opportunity to visit with your friends and family.  Call ahead, make sure they are going to be home and tell them you have something to drop off.  Hope this helps.
