I am a bit of a DIY nut. I recently got into making chapstick with beeswax and coconut oil. I’ve made lemon mint and lavender, and they were a hit with my coworkers and friends. I am toying around with the idea of edible wedding favors, but I would think that a handmade wedding favor would be neat also. I know I can’t JUST give people a single chapstick, so I was thinking I’d put together wedding favor bags full of a chapstick and a few other items, and offer about 3 different flavors of chapstick, with the other favors being identical.
How do you think the handmade chapsticks would go over? What other things would you add to the favor bag?
OR would you prefer an edible favor, like these neat cookie fries and dipping sauces I’ve found…

I think you need to carefully label the ingredients. My daughter lent me her (Bee product) lip gloss once, and my lips swelled up. I’m allergic.
It’s not a kids birthday party, so you don’t have to supply loot bags. I’d prefer an edible favor, if any. I’m one of those people that really doesn’t care for/expect favors, hotel bags, etc.

Honestly, I am picky about my chapsticks. I have received them before as favors, normally I use them once and forget about them. Personally, I wouldn’t want more than one because I probably wouldn’t use them.

I would skip that, they sound more like out of town bags than favors. If you really want to do favors I would stick with something edible. But they won’t be missed if you nix it altogether.
