Hey ladies. I am trying to save a bit of money (as have fallen in love with a rather $$$ dress) by making our menus/thank you notes for each place setting.
Could I have your opinions on whether this looks TOO handdrawn (ie. pretty bad and obviously cheap). It’s very hard to be objective when drawing something yourself.
This is just a first draft of the front page. Inside will be the menu, a thank you note to our guests as many are coming from other continents, and some info about favours.

I think it depends on the “theme” or feel of your wedding. If you are having a rustic, laid back wedding, I think this is perfect! At a more formal affair, I would rethink it and maybe try to get something designed and printed.

Doesn’t look cheap at all! You have great handwriting, and if you hadn’t mentioned it was handmade, I would’ve guessed from the photo that it was printed.
