@teabiscuit:  Tea, I saw your ring in the other hand-made ring thread that was started 2 months ago that  (sadly) hardly got any hits. I love your ring and all of it’s tiny, intricate details! It’s amazing how something that small was carved out by hand. I hope more bees show off their handmade rings. *Waits for RayKay, especially. Her set is amazing too.

@Eight6Eleven:  Ha, ask and ye shall receive! I too love handmade rings. I did wear a CAD/CAST set for a while but they felt “too perfect” for me. I feel like I am wearing a work of art on my finger, and I love that each is unique. None of my bands are exactly the same as another, even as another in my set, for example! I just love wearing them knowing someone put so much into them from start to finish.

@RayKay:  I feel the same way about mine. The place they came from has a fairly new ‘smith there that does CAD casts and his work is gorgeous, but lacks that handmade artisan feel that I have with my ring. Not knocking, I’m an artist so I appreciate others who work with their hands and make things from scratch.

Bumping for more handmade rings, ladies!

@Eight6Eleven:  Totally understand. There are indeed some gorgeous CAD/CAST’s out there, but the feel is different (and I also experienced on my own hand!).

Post your ring! I love its chunkiness!

I love your rings, ladies! Here’s my e-ring, handmade by an Etsy artist:

And here’s my wedding ring, which I plan to wear on its own. It was my grandmother’s wedding ring, and it was far too big on me and some of the sapphires and diamonds had popped out. The jeweler has it now, and I can’t wait to see the finished product!

@starbuck:  So cool! What kind of stones are those? And is the band yellow gold or something else?
