This gorgeous paper flower wall was the highlight of the wedding reception and was featured on The Southern Weddings Blog (link below). We used it as a family photo wall but it would also make a stylish photo backdrop.
It is made up of two panels, each 4 ft. wide x 8 ft. tall. The panels can be hung side by side for a large 8′ x 8′ display or they can be hung separately. We hung them separately, filling two large doorways at the reception venue. The background is lightweight painted styrofoam, making the panels very lightweight and easy to transport and hang. The detailed flowers are made from ivory cardstock. There are a variety of styles and sizes on each panel. We used the flower wall as a family photo display featuring 6 matted photos. The matted photos were simply hot-glued in place. You will be able to easily add your own photos to the existing blue mats or you can have new mats cut to match your own wedding decor. If you prefer to omit the photos, the designer will construct more flowers to fill the gaps for an additional charge. Although the background is painted pale blue, it is quite neutral because the flowers cover almost the entire surface (you see only a peek of the blue color in the background). There are 6 ivory grosgrain ribbon loops glued to the top of each panel for hanging. The panels are light enough to hang using Command Hooks or tiny finishing nails. The flowers extend beyond the top of the panels and completely cover the hanging ribbons so the panels appear to be floating in place. The panels are in perfect condition and are surprisingly sturdy if handled carefully. You will need a large SUV to transport them. Available for pick-up only in Greensboro, NC.
