I guess I never really thought of my fingers as short, but after seeing some of these pictures… I’m really wondering. My ring size is 5.75. My diamond is 1.13 carats.
Im taking a break from painting and thought I would play!
Im a 7.25, the band is 1.5 on my Ering and the stone a .85 (6.15mm). I really think the thin band helps tons!
Wow, thanks for all the great pictures! You’ve given me a really good visual! I feel in good company with my “economy-sized” hands. 🙂 Although I do like that term “snausage fingers!”
doglovingwife: Your stone is gorgeous! May I ask what it is? The color is incredible.
luey12986, marriedalready69, NEAM2014 and Navygirl14: your pictures are especially helpful for me because your rings are very similar to what I’m looking at- a six prong solitaire with a plain band. My band is going to be taking up some real estate (the plain Skinny Lima band from Rosado’s Box) so Navygirl, your stack is a great visual!
longtimemrs: I’ve seen your gorgeous blue ring before but just wanted to compliment it again 🙂
longtimemrs: I love it! I don’t wear much jewelry and no rings at all so I didn’t have a great concert of what I would want. Then I came across that ring on the seller’s Etsy page in a pave version, paired with a plain thin tiffany style ring (the Skinny Webster.) I sat up and said to myself “this, this, THIS!” I like the little extra sparkle in a pave ring but just don’t think it’s practical so I have been training my eye to the classic, elegant simplicity of the plain band and shank together. This board has been great to get real life visuals of what I like and what might be beautiful but not for me. We aren’t in any particular rush to get hitched but I figure I already have his band picked out so why not have an idea for myself. 🙂
Keep it coming, small-handed ladies, we have another gray day here and I love admiring sparkles. 🙂
Not my wedding set but an inherited blue topaz solitaire and a band I found on etsy to match it 😉
litebrite249: just thought I would also share my monster 👾 blue topaz. It’s called Kirsty, after Kirsty alsop the TV home and craft presenter who’s ring I love as has been my celebrity ring crush forever . Anyway In march this year I finally one of my own. Here she is….
Me!! My fingers are only 2.5″ long (I’ve had comments about child size hands before)! My band is 2mm thick so I think that helps and I’ll be having a 2mm band too.
Love the “sausage fingers” phrase too!!
I have short fingers.
I will post a photo of my new blue topaz ring as well on my super short (size 6.5) fingers. This is my old setting with a new stone. My old stone is being re-set into a custom setting, which is taking FOREVER.
I have super short fingers, size 7. I don’t have my wedding ring yet, but this is the one I’m looking at!
