What are you ladies doing with your personlized dress hanger after the wedding?
I’m thinking about putting mine in a shadowbox or something like that and hang it in the bedroom with other wedding things like a couple photos, guest book photo mat etc.
Other than that I have no idea what to do with it. Any suggestions?

I will be using it to hang my special items on. Mine will have my new last name on it so I can use it any time.

@armychica06: Mine has my last name too so I could use it anywhere. I just don’t want to ruin it. Hm.. I guess no one else has any other ideas though. Thanks 🙂

I purposely bought my cousin’s fiancee one that read Mrs. Lastname instead of Bride or I Do so she can use it after the wedding. I hope she finds a good use for it. Good to see other’s are thinking about that too.

This makes me feel so lazy. My hanger is still inside the storage bin with the rest of my day of crap from our wedding. I honestly never had any plans for it beyond the pretty pictures. It’ll stay stored away with the rest of our wedding stuff until we (or my Brother-In-Law & SIL) have a son who gets married so his bride can use it.

I like the idea of including it in a shadow box!

Putting it in a shadow box is a really cute idea! If I ever have an apartment big enough for a walk in closet, perhaps I will do the same thing and display it in there.
I originally planned on storing my wedding dress on the hanger, but after reading your post, I feel like I want to put it to better use than that… I think I will just keep it in my closet to see & use every day. Maybe I will keep my bathrobe on it because I use that most mornings, and I think seeing my “Mrs. Lastname” hanger will make me smile!

Ours are hung on the arms of our reading lamps in the bedroom (they’re sconces coming out from the wall). Darling Husband insisted on having one too, he’s so cute.

Mine hangs on the outside of my closet door with whatever dress is tickling my fancy at the moment. Kind of like a piece of art 🙂
