I have one and it doesn’t hold my dress worth a damn!  Of course I bought mine on Ebay for $10 and it’s mostly just for a photo prop so I’m not upset about being out that amount of money.

Are you much of a DIY-er?  I did mine and although I haven’t used them yet I love them and think they will look awesome in pictures.  Also, I plan on just giving them to my bridesmaids as part of their gift.

I’ve thought about this too but honestly I don’t think it would be worth it.  Better to just get some nice wooden hangers. . . .

For anything personalized for my bridesmaids I was just going to put their first name on them.

I got mine at just under $13 with shipping, at that pricepoint I’m satisfied. I made sure my hanger was one that coould be re-used it says “Mrs. _____” so afterward I’ll just continue to use it since I’ll still be a Mrs. even if I’m no longer a bride. For the Bridesmaids if I do anything at all I’ll just get them plain wodden hangers in the same wood color (it’s like $5 for a pack at the store)

@gelaine22:  Mine can support the weight, but it’s one of the wood hangers and I find that  the grooves just aren’t deep enough to keep the strap attached.  Everytime I jostle the bag AT ALL, one or both hangers fall off and when I open the bag the dress is in I find it crumpled at the bottom – so annoying!

I have one ad it’s pretty cheapy looking I got it from a seller on etsy paid like $24.00 and it doesn’t hold a heavy dress. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you were doing it yourself

@lovelylight99: I considered doing it, but in the end decided it wasn’t worth it, especially as far as my BM’s were concerned. I used just plain wooden hangers in the end I think. You could DIY some tags which have a little message as a keepsake.

I had never seen these hangers until I saw pictures on here.  Cute in photos, but not something I would put money into just for a useless picture – I see it as useless because I’m not going to print a picture of my dress with a hanger and hang it up in my home or even print to give to people.

@nyscpa2be:  Thanks! Unfortunately I don’t. I’ll probably make one though since I have some extra hangers and supplies. I’ve been meaning to do it for a while. Haha

@lovelylight99:  Fair enough, you can definitely save a bundle if you do them yourself but if it’s not your thing it probably wouldn’t be worth it. I don’t think I would’ve spent as much as they cost on etsy or anything.
