@MrsP-to-be: They are also in Dollar Tree stores for $1…and you can buy them from Save-On-crafts.

ETA: After trying both, I went with Save On Crafts b/c the shepherd’s hooks are taller and heavier than the Dollar Tree (of course) but I think they both would get the job done.

Are there any surfaces ,trees, poles etc that you could string a line across then hang the jars from that line?

Otherwise you could use cantilevered patio umbrella frames to hang lanterns from, if it can be off ot the side of pedestrian traffic.

If you have a way to raise these up you could also string a line between two of them and hang your jars from the line.

You can use shepherds hooks. They come as tall as 7’4″

7'4" Tall Lawn HookIf you don’t have lawn to sink the stake into there are also bases you can buy, or you can sink it into a large pot filled with sand.

There are hanging basket stands you could use. This example is short though-40″ so it also would have to be off to the side

White Veranda Plant Stand For Hanging Baskets

Yard Tree Plant & Accessory Holder  This is called a Yard Tree Plant and Accessory Holder. It is taller.

I recommend the Dollar Tree hooks. They’re not super tall but you can’t beat the price. I don’t know how easy they are to find now, though. I bought some a few weeks ago and I didn’t see any left when I went to Dollar Tree today.
