Here is my challenge: There is a large blank wall near the bar area at my reception hall where I want to display pictures of the man and I through the years. The problem is, the hall doesn’t allow the use of ANYTHING on the walls. No tape, nails, thumbtacks….etc. I was thinking to clothes pin the pics to a string, but how would I hang it? Anyone have any ideas on how I could display pictures on a wall without actually adhering them to the wall???

You could use a screen to put them on or if you want to do the clothes line, you could have some free-standing poles to tie the string to. Are they totally against that scotch stuff that adheres to walls, but then comes off cleanly?

Have you checked out poster tack? It’s this sort of stuff: http://tinyurl.com/nypj2e
It does not leave any residue (I used it in my dorm room) and it works pretty well, although the amount you will have to use may vary based on the weight of the paper you’re hanging up (plus, it won’t damage the paper when you take it off and it can be reused if you would like!)
I would probably test it out first though, if you have the chance, since the stuff may work better on some types of walls than others.
