@MrsTillerResq:  It’s not our first anniversary (we’ll be coming on 2 years in Sept!) but i just wanted to pipe in to say congratulations! 🙂  Also, we celebrated twice – once out to a fancy dinner, and the next night he and I recreated our wedding reception dinner together.  As for gifts – I had the top tier of our wedding cake remade, but as an ice cream cake! He loved it. 🙂  Have a great anniversary!

Our 1st anniversary is the 9th 🙂 I ordered a replica of our top tear, for the paper traditional gift I made him a framed date log of all of our important dates, and for the modern first year gift I am getting him a new watch 🙂 We are probably just going to go out to a nice dinner 🙂

We are going to dinner at our favorite restaurant for our anniversary on the 30th!  Whew what a year it has been.  Feels like it has been longer (in a good way!)

I’m really struggling on gift ideas.  He, of course, already has something figured out for me and ordered…. I…have NO clue.  lol I’m gonna stalk this thread and hopefully get an idea!

Were going to the beach for 8 days and then when we come back we have the top of our cake and a bottle of champagne that was gifted to us at our wedding which we were saving for our 1st year celebration. I believe he’s getting me a bouquet of my favorite flowers from our wedding florist too but I don’t know what to get him.

It’s my one year anniversary today! I’m also 38 weeks pregnant, so that kept us from traveling or doing anything too crazy. We celebrated last night by going out to dinner at a steak house downtown and then seeing the Broadway play War Horse. It was a great evening! DH sent me a beautiful rose bouquet today.

We had our 1st anniversary on Saturday. It was a great day! We tried to eat the frozen wedding cake in the fridge, but after one bite figured we were safer going to get ice cream, haha. Otherwise we cooked out and hung out together and it was relaxing and nice. I can’t believe it’s been a year already!

Unfortunately we’re both working so its going to be fairly low key. to make it even more complicated, we live in different cities so im flying down to see him for the night. (He doesn’t know I’m coming!)

I’ve ordered him two books he desperately wants (paper theme gift), we have two cupcakes left from our wedding cupcakes, and a bottle of champagne that the hotel we stayed at gave us. And probably room service haha.

Can’t believe a year has flown by! We booked a weekend roadtrip heading to Palm Springs to celebrate our anniversary. I am also still struggling with finding an anniversary gift, been researching and stalking various sites to get ideas/inspiration for 1st anniversary (either paper or clock) related gift ideas that would appeal to hubby.

We’re going to Chicago for the weekend! Have never been before so it should be a great time. I was thinking about getting him an iPad (not paper, lol oops). I already got him a watch as a wedding gift so that idea is out.

We’re going back to our honeymoon destination in Riviera Maya for a week and then will start trying for a little one 🙂
