Our wedding date is exactly a month before his bday and 3 weeks before mine. I didn’t want it to be too close.

Mrs. Bruschetta:

This original post is a bit old but I wanna comment anyway. I have always hated that my birthday is almost always celebrated on Superbowl Sunday (winter time and too close to the beginning of the year) I want a wedding date as far away as possible from my birthday so we chose the first weekend of September which is Labor Day weekend (Yay! Anniversary will always be a long weekend and still the end of summer!) My fiance’s birthday is on Halloween. Although his birthday and our wedding are in two consecutive months, one in beginning of Sept while the other is end of Oct, they are technically closer to being two months apart instead of one month. I know we could have chosen a date that’s more smack in the middle of our birthdays like June but our dating anniversary is end of April making it kinda close. My married friends think I’m crazy about analyzing this too much because they didn’t think about it when they got married. I feel bad because one of them got married in the courthouse Dec 26th (yes, the day after Christmas) and October 11th (her bday I think is Oct 9th or 10th). But I don’t think they care. My coworker is even worse, her bday is Dec 3rd, her hubby’s is Dec 6th and they got married Dec 18th or 19th!

Nope, we planned it for October. His birthday is in June and mine is in April. The closest thing to our anniversary is his dad’s birthday (late September).
