Hello fellow Canadian bees…
Just wanted to wish you all a great Canada Day weekend!
I thought that in honour of Canada Day we could maybe share one thing we love about Canada For all of the things that could be improved, we are really lucky to live in such an awesome place.
For me, I am super thankful for our awesome free healthcare system that has really helped me out a lot this month.
I also wanted to share a gratuitous photo of the campground I spent the day at today…we live in a beautiful country!
Enjoy the long weekend ladies!

I love Canada! I love nature, and I am so lucky to live on vancouver island, one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, and I’ve seen alot of places!

@nambi_pambi: The island is super beautiful! And so much diversity even there. I did the West Coast trail a few years ago and it was seriously some of the most breathtaking beauty I’ve ever seen!

Hi!! I’m celebrating Canada Day over here in Australia! Being away from home has definitely shown me the things I love about Canada. Health care for sure is a big plus, I miss the change of the seasons, the beautiful landscape, tim hortons and swiss pigeon.

So thankful to to live in this amazing country! I could do without the freezing cold winters, but other than that, it’s an incredible place to live.

I love our sense of community.
I live in Calgary and we just had a huuuge flood, I’m sure you guys saw the pictures. Many houses are drowned and THOUSANDS of people are swarming the affected areas to clean up or volunteer in some way or donated clothes/food/pet supplies/personal hygiene stuff to evacuees.
It is amazing.
Also, about 100,000 people were evacuated at one point, and only about 1500 were in shelters. People opened up their homes like crazy, even to strangers!
You know what else? This reaction did not surprise me. This is my hometown. 😀

@Fizzy8: Yes I followed the story of the flood! Amazing response from everyone. I hope that your house was not damaged as I heard that insurance won’t cover most of the damage for people. How terrible.
