I didn’t vote because mine is just grad school left as I graduated in May 2011. I’ll be done with my Masters in Summer 2014 though, yay!

And congrats, I know it’s fun to realize you’ll be done sooner! I finished an entire year early and it was great!

I’ll finish my BS in Early Childhood Education in early May 2014, and getting married right after! The long engagement is helping a ton. I want to be basically done planning before next year, because my school basically has you student teach the entire last year. I won’t have nearly as much free time as I do now (or any at all).

@Omgbunnies:  I’m getting my M.A.T. in Special Education.

@Mrs.babycat:  Haha, same. I don’t have the patience to date for more than 5 years. It was a long enough wait as it was!

I’m on the exact same timeline! I’ll get my bachlors in a year and a half, my masters in two years after that. I’m so excited!

Our plans are to get married between my two degrees though, so I can focus on my master’s without worrying about when the engagement will happen, or planning a wedding.

@Omgbunnies:  For sure, which is why I’m trying to get as much done now as I possibly can. Ideally, everything will only need to be finalized by the time I start my student teaching.

@Omgbunnies: Yeah I finish in December 2013, and then I’m taking the spring semester off of school to work and plan, we’re getting married in September, and I start my Masters at the end of September. So it’s like perfectly planned out to make it as easy as possible on me! I’m excited! So many wonderful things in the next few years!

I am starting my PhD this year, and the general timeline for grad students in my discipline usually ends up being five years. Fiance and I are getting married in June, but we are having a pretty simple wedding and will have a couple weeks after the semester to get final details together. I didn’t want to wait until I finished school, especially since Fiance no longer has health insurance and us getting married would ensure that he is eligible to be put on the insurance that is available to me from my graduate program (which is quite good and affordable).

Aside from that we’ve already been together for 7 years!

I have less than 8 months (!!!!!!!!!!) left in school, and my Fiance has about 15 months left… when we get married he will be in his FINAL month of college! WAHOO!!!!!!
