So sorry!  I think I’ll be in a similar situation, so I know it’s sucky.  Enjoy the extra time you do get with your Maid/Matron of Honor and be happy for your guy for now.

Good luck!

Why don’t the two of you get together and do a spa day or something

I’m in the same boat.  I’ve been a single mom for years and have moved away from where I went to HS.  No sibling, close cousins, and hoenstly not really any friends either.  No bachelorette for me!  🙁  Oh and my maid of honor is my daughter, lol.  If we lived near each other we could have our own combined bachelorette.

@karenski: @irin997: I am in the same boat with both you ladies. I don’t have a Mom or Dad and the one sister I have…we are estranged fom one another for very good reasons.

My two younger cousins are in my bridal party and a bachelorette party would be inappropriate. I am taking advantage of him going out by doing the little things I don’t do for me. I am going to schedule some spa pampering and get my relaxation on before the final days before the wedding. There is nothing wrong with having some alone time to yourself to do what you want to do instead of drinking it up at a bar.

Aw thats sad. Why don’t you go visit a friend in another state for the weekend while Fiance does his bachelor party? Than you get to do something.

Ask your Maid/Matron of Honor to throw you a party! Even its just the two of you, it could be a lot of fun!!!
