What a great place to have this conversation! As a woman it’s very important to me to have access to great women’s health care.  I’m so thankful for my awesome female doctor and all of the resources available to me where I live.

To you too! 🙂

What is important to me is women’s health, and I take a prevention approach.

For example, most women don’t know that women are more than twice as vulnerable to radioactivity as men are. Children are even more so, and pregnant women are the most vulnerable of all. The legal exposure regulations and health guidelines are all written with an adult male as the reference, many times too high for other people. Does that seem right?

On March 11, which is Tuesday, it will be the two-year anniversary of the beginning of the Fukushima nuclear disaster. What have regulators done to prevent the next nuclear power accident from being as bad? What has anyone done to help the victims… especially the women and children… who were exposed? These are questions we need to be asking.

Happy happy!

Most important thing for me is access to education. It is so important for girls in countries like Afghanistan to be given access to good schools so they can have a fighting chance to be lifted out of poverty.

Happy International’s Womens Day Bees!

What is important to you as a woman?

I used to do a lot of charitable work with CASE (Canadians Against Sexual Exploitation)
It is very improtant to me that the message get out there that millions of women and children are trafficked everyday in both international countries and Canada and the USA.
