Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m going to my Aunt’s house tonight for dinner….mmmmmm!!!

Fiance is away for the month but I’m also invited to his family’s thanksgiving dinner which will be late (Oct.20) since his Grandma’s coming to visit then.  I thought it was really nice of them to still invite me and am looking forward to that too 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving!!  My SO and I are heading to his friend’s house for dinner, since neither of us are from here and all of our family is back home in Toronto.

Other than that, we’ll be just be doing some bike riding and taking it easy.  Oh, and I baked sugar cookies with iced pumpkins on them for tonight.

I’ll also probably be participating in a conference call tonight with my whole family as they gather together for dinner back east… fun fun 🙂

strange question – what kinds of foods do you eat at thanksgiving in canada?

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m excited to stuff myself full of turkey! It’s our first one as Mr. & Mrs. !!! and it’s not even with our families! LOL. They are all busy or away, so we were invited to a friends parents house for dinner!

Can’t wait! They are from south africa, I wonder if they have any different traditions than we do? I’m excited either way.

Happy Thanksgiving! We had our big dinner last night so I have leftovers tonight and lots of turkey after that for sandwiches. Love it! SIL made homemade pies which were amazing.

Our typical meal consists of turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, turnips, carrots, brussle sprouts, cranberry sauce, stuffing, coleslaw salad, and buns.

Pumpkin, Apple, and Cherry pie.

We had a sort of untraditional Thanksgiving tonight! My friend was in town and he’s a pescatarian so we had roasted salmon, whipped potatoes with mushroom gravy, glazed carrots, corn, and really ugly but delicious carrot cake.
