@alaha:  Like CelticBeachBride said, if you want a diamond, a moissy just don’t do.  Yes moissanite was marketed as a diamond simulant, but they’re not as good as mimicing diamonds as a CZ.  This happens to be why I love moissanite and dislike diamonds, the extra fire and brilliance really make the stone sparkle.  In addition, moissanite doesn’t attract oils/grease the way a diamond does, so it stays cleaner longer (this is due to the nature of the carbon molecule).  If diamonds and moissanites were the same price, I’d still choose moissanite for these reasons alone.  I love the fact that my ring is conflict free (moissy center, recycled diamond sidestones and gold), but there are many different stones that are lab created/ethically mined and definitely conflict free.  I don’t think that there is a “better” or “right” choice when it comes to a stone, the same way there isn’t a “better” hair color or height; it all comes down to personal preferrence.

@alaha:  Darn typo, I meant to say go with moissy if you like the moodiness than go with moissy.
