Warhol_Girl89:  Do you have an ipod or anything? Could you make a cardboard photoframe to go around it, and have a short video playing, so it looks like the moving pictures?

Maybe set up a study corner with a jar of different quills (I think you can usually get fake quills pretty cheap from places like the Works), and loads of rolled up parchment?

Ooh, and could you do a sketch of a faded woman-shape to stick in the window to look like The Grey Lady?

Could you get some little cauldrons as well, to mix cocktails in? With a ladle to dish up, and some faux goblets to drink out of.

Also the Ravenclaw colours are Blue and Bronze – Slytherin got silver!

You should also definitely get those Jelly Belly beans which have a gross flavour for every nice flavour as well, to be Bertie Botts, and Freddos for Chocolate Frogs!

There’s quite a bit on Pinterest, actually, although I don’t know why I’m surprised by that: http://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=harry%20potter%20party

This idea for the floating candles is pretty genius though: http://www.eatingbender.com/2013/11/07/order-of-the-phoenix-az-a-harry-potter-party-in-the-desert/

You can download the free Harry P font from Dafont, then use it to print banners for each house at Hogwarts. There are public domain logo images on the Harry Potter Wikia site.

e.g http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/File:Gryffindor_Logo_from_Harry_Potter_Lego.jpg

you can draw your own Hedwig ballons with a black and yellow sharpie

recreate the great hall with cardboard tubes painted white, dripped with wax and topped with a LED candle.
