I am currently watching the Deathly Hallows Part 2 on ABC Family and I love this movie so much! I love all the Harry Potter books and movies. I went to every midnight release party without fail. Harry Potter is my childhood. So I thought I would start a thread about it :D.
So ladies, what is your favorite scene or line in the movies? One of my favorites has to be in the last movie when McGonagall casts a spell on the statues to fight. “Hogwarts is threatened! Man the boundaries! Protect us! Do your duty to our school!”
Chills. I just get chills at that scene.
Come on ladies, let’s have a Harry Potter discussion! 🙂

My Fiance and I have been watching all the movies and just finished tonight. He had actually never watched them before. Luna remains one of my favourite characters lol.

Coincidentally that is also my favourite line from any of the movies. That entire fight scene was mesmerizing.

“not my daughter you bitch!”

Also, I really love the flashback scene showing Snape and Lily’s story. I was looking forward to that scene the most when the last movie came out.

My absolute favorite part is when Molly Weasley snarls “Not my daughter, you bitch!”
My very close runner up is from Hermione (who is tied for favorite character with Molly): “Just because you have the emotional range of a teaspoon…”
I LOVE Harry Potter!!!

Oh my goodness! The cable’s out, we just got internet back, but I’ve been marathoning the movies all evening!! I’m on number 3 right now. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan.

Haha, I was watching them too! I’m such a HP nerd. One of my favorite scenes is in Deathly Hallows part 1 when they’re taking polyjuice to turn into Harry. Makes me giggle every time.
Also love Snapey’s memories, but I cry every time he dies. lol.

I must also say the best quote in the entire series is Molly Weasley yelling, “NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCH!!”

Two of my most memorable parts are:
#1 from the Prisoner of Azkaban when harry is being attacked by the dementors in the lake & see’s the bright light across the lake & thinks it’s somehow his father only to later realize it was himself who went back in time.
#2 From Deathly Hallows Part 1 when the silver doe leads harry to the sword of gryffindor at the bottom of the lake but the locket starts choking him nearly drowning him & he awakes to ron’s return.
It’s hard to choose a fave because the movies & books are just so amazing! So I just chose my most memorable parts lol The last installment to the series is awing! You really see how the characters have grown & the sense of the plot has changed.

IL prisonner of azkaban, when Sirius has to leave, he is bent down and tells harry, while placing his hand on the boy’s chest “the ones who truly love you never really leave you. You can always find them, here.”
When Sirius is in his animagus form and walks into the station and harry tells him someone could have caught them easily, to which he replies “what’s life without a little risk?”
Voldemort’s quote “there is no good and evil. There is only power, and those too weak to see it” I love it.
Molly’s scene fighting Bellatrix and her famous “not my daughter you bitch!” Incredible and touching and strong, she can’t take it anymore, she has lost a son, she certainly will not allow someone to hurt her daughter. This scene represents the strength of mothers love.
Finally, I love the flashback scene with Snape and lily although I hate certain fails like lily having brown eyes (such an important characteristic, they should have made them blue at least to match with Daniels) snapes last words, through his tears, “You have your mothers eyes”
I love every single scene, I know them all by heart. potterhead represent.

I love the scene in Order of the Phoenix with the exchange between Professor McGonagall and Umbridge on the stairs where Umbridge accuses her of disloyalty.
My all-time favorite exchange, however, is two lines:
” After all this time?”
JK Rowling told a better love story in two sentences than I’ve ever seen in entire series (cough cough Twilight).

I love Harry Potter! I remember when I was reading the last book, I started bawling when I saw that Harry’s son’s middle name was Severus. I love Snape’s backstory, he was always my favorite character

Oh so hard to pick a favorite! My favorite book is OOTP. I love the emotional conflicts of that story and you really get to see Harry grow up.
