Yes–and we loved the results! The pictures were true to color and quality of the originals and the paper that they offer is to-die-for. The standard is nice and silky; we upgraded to the photo-matte which is seriously artbook quality. I also found the software easy to use and flexible to pretty much whatever kind of layout you could want.

The one thing that you should be aware of is they do have a little trouble with their covers–nothing major, but if you have a precise or complicated layout, they might not be able to replicate or space it perfectly.

THey are not cheap, but with a coupon, I think it’s worth it.

This gentleman did a really comprehensive review on photobooks–he’s actually done two on Photobook America (he’s Canadian, so he refers to “Photobook Canada” but it’s the same company) http://www.digitalhomethoughts.com/news/show/97676/the-great-photo-book-round-up-review-who-makes-the-best-photo-books.html There’s one that’s part of this babybook review and another that he did for a travelbook using Photobook America/Canada. I suggest also searching him out on youtube (look up “photobook review” and it should come up) because the videos show the end-product well.

I used photobook america for my guestbook. It turned out great! The pages don’t lie flat, but they’re great. We got the matte pages, and it was well worth the upgrade. Also, be aware that the groupon doesn’t cover shipping. There is a white page and a vellum page before your book starts also, which is something you can’t get around. It’s not a big deal though. The editor is super easy, the book turns out very true to life – both size and color wise. Use the tips the editor has though! It has a very simple “fill to page” aspect, which saved me a lot of hassle (after I tried to stretch it – whoops!)
