I got mine at a sample sale. It was being discontinued so I got 50% off. They were havin an additional sale so I got an extra $100 off. That being said, I paid $424 (including tax) for my dress which was originally $1000

My dress was a sample and I bought it through Tradesy. It was $50 (original price was $400-$500). I totally lucked out. It’s very simple as you can see in the photo, so I plan to add a belt (like the 2nd photo).

My dress was also a sample. It was orignally $1200-1400 (I don’t really remember the exact price), but I got it for $400. It’s going to need to be shortened, seriously, but otherwise fit almost perfectly!

My dress was a sample.  It wasn’t that much discounted, but  they did give me free alterations because it was a sample.  It was in very good shape – not a mark on it.  I think I paid about $700.

The other super nice thing was then it didn’t have to be ordered and I didn’t have to wait and worry if it would come in on time or not.

Mine was a sample dress!  It was actually a designer sample that never was made into production, so its one of a kind!  If you have a chance to go wholesale, you may have a chance to end up with a dress like that… and the quality of mine was AMAZING.   I think if it had ever retailed it would have gone for around $2,500 and I got it for $500.

So yes, with samples or wholesale you can get a KILLER deal.

@peonyinlove:  I have 2 dresses and both are samples. The first is a Tara Keely that was originally $2000-2500 and I got it for $850. It’s a little big but it’s in perfect condition. And my second dress is a $9000 Romona Keveza dress I got for $400. I saw it online at church street bridal and had it shipped to me. It fits almost perfectly I just need it hemmed and it probably needs to be cleaned but other than that there isn’t anything wrong.

@peonyinlove:  I’m in MA and it was $17 to ship it here I believe. The woman who works there is very nice. If you call her she could probably tell you how much it’d be to ship.
