I haven’t, but there are little temporary inserts any jeweler could put on the inside of your band to temporarily tighten it.  I can’t think of the term, but that should be effective and cheaper!

It’s called a ring guard, and yes many people have them.

I have a ring guard that sits inside the ering itself.  It isn’t a separate ring, just a piece of metal to tighten up the band.  It works great and is actually pretty comfortable.

I’m curious, are you not in Georgia right now?? Because it’s not winter yet and maybe you should go down half a size.

@moonadea: It’s called a ring guard or stacker. What you’re refering to is a sizer. Add band to your Google search and you’ll find many examples of stacker rings and wraps.

yeah, I think that’s different than a ring guard. I’ve thought about getting one of what you’re talking about, some people wear something similar (I forget the technical name)  but for symmetry, but it could certainly work to keep your e-ring on!

Silver is actually slightly harder than gold, so I’d be careful with mixing metals. A ring guard might be the way to go.

@moonadea: Okay, lol, I was a little confused… tomorrow is only the first day of fall, haha! But that makes sense, I know some buildings do the opposite of the weather to the extreme.

I have exactly the same problem.  The ring would still spin like crazy if I tried to add another band so I wrap clear fishing line on the back of mine for the winter and take it off for the summer.  Works like a charm, my summer size is 4.5 and winter size is 4-4.25

I used the plastic sizers when my ring was too big last winter. I couldn’t feel it after having it on with my ring for a day or two.

 or these
