I’d never go with a lying seller. He isn’t just being evasive he is outright lying. They aren’t lab diamonds. He then refers to them as lower cut moissanite but also doesn’t. He won’t come outright and say what the stones are. If it’s a cz just state that. Too scammy.

FYI, they are produced with part silicon carbide, like moissanite which is why he refers to them that way. They have the characteristics and hardness as diamond, but are low in cost, this is why they are not referred to a moissanite – i’ve had one tested to be sure. give the guy a break, hes clearly trying to work hard and is on his own, not all of us casn afford to hire staff when you run such a small business!

I contemplated buying from this shop but never did due to vague descriptions and suspiciously low prices. Some messages in this thread clear this up a bit – thanks ladies!

pricklypear91 : I did buy a cheap ring from him to use as an e-ring stand-in when I have to do lab work (ie changing gloves often) as my e-ring has high tapered cathedral settings. I did request for a white gold filled ring but he sent me a 925 silver ring. He didn’t reply when I emailed him to check, but since the silver ring looks alright, I didn’t bother to pursue the matter. It’s the price of a silver ring with CZ. Maybe he’s not clear about the “lab diamond” he’s using but so far the “lab diamond” didn’t seem to cloud, and doesn’t fog up when I breathe on it. I’ll add a photo later.

I have a few of his rings now. I just got a lab ruby solitaire as a stand in because my wedding set was irritating my finger. I actually love the feel of the titanium. It’s so, well, soft if that doesn’t sound too crazy! I’m eyeing up a moissanite one from him now. I want all the shinys!!
