I’ve bought a few pairs from Eye Buy Direct.  I wear them daily and haven’t any major issues with any of them.

teamroro :  that’s exactly what I just did. Ordered my frames online and then took them to Costco. I was surprised by how affordable the lenses are there.

Optician here….Rx glasses ordered online rarely ever get the Rx correct. There have actually been studies on this and online products received roughly an 80% fail rate. Single vision lenses between a +\- 2 diopter power should be okay. I would never trust an online manufacturer to get my pupillary distance, vertex distance, pantoscopic tilt, seg height (I could go on) correct. These measurements all mean something important.

Invest in good eyewear, invest in a knowledgeable optician that is licensed (we studied our asses off), and remember that glasses are considered a medical device (would you buy a hearing aide online?). You only get 2 eyeballs so be good to them. Get your yearly eye exam and invest in the best lenses and coatings you can comfortably afford. I sell glasses that are $99 and I sell glasses that are over $1200, so a good optician will get you what you need in your budget, I promise.

I got my ray bans online. I tried on in store then found them for cheaper online and bought them.
