We want our dream wedding but we are on a tight budget and expecting about 150 guests to our wedding. We want to get married on a yacht just wondering if anyone else here has looked into this type of wedding or had a yacht wedding? (Florida area) All advice and tips & Tricks are welcome as i’m planning the wedding from Canada. HELP! 🙂

wow, probably REALLY expensive for a giant yacht that will fit 150 ppl! I’m looking at one for 10 ppl for my rehearsal dinner, and it’s already 1500 for just a couple of hours =( (oh and this is in mexico, not florida)

@allisonskinner I was looking at yachts as a possible wedding venue & surprisingly some of them weren’t much more expensive than places on land. I found this site that has the prices of many yachts and some of them even run specials. I did a quick rundown over the specials Page some of them accommodate up to 149 people. One didn’t have a fee for the yacht, 3 hr dinner cruise with wine, juice & soda for $69. Pretty affordable. http://www.boatmiami.com/party.php

@Allisonskinner: I got married last October on the Majestic Princess, and it was very reasonable.

You’ve most likely chosen your venue by now; if you haven’t, have you looked into Sunquest Solaris in Destin, FL? We’re most likely going with them for a 3-4 hour wedding-dinner cruise with an open bar and private charter.

@brookiej did you have your wedding on the Solaris yet? I am also considering this venue for my reception and wanted to know your experience.
