To “de-poof” a dress, all youd have to do is have a seamstress take a layer of the crinoline out. It super fast and easy. No problem.

Also, I like Austin infinitely more than Lasara.

I asked the same thing when I tried on the Austin and they recommended taking out a layer or two of the crinoline.

@Bridecc:

I actually wanted to do the same thing!  Any chance you have any photos of what it looks like after de-poofing?  Did it still have a nice shape?  My wedding is in the summer and a)it’ll be hot and b) I wanted to be able to be light and dance!

Thanks so much!

I am having my austin de-poofed for my wedding next month. I personally like it better with less poof. It still flows really nicely!!

Hi everyone! I’m seriously considering the Austin as well, and am so curious to see what your dresses look like “depoofed,” as that’s the one thing I might want to change a bit! Whenever you get pictures, if you could share them, I’d be so grateful! 🙂

and @july22011: congratulations! it looks like your big day is almost here! hope it’s perfect!
