I haven’t had any experinces with it personally, but my mother did some research into it because she had gastric bypass done awhile ago and you know… skin just kinda hangs off of her now. The info she came up with and the general consensus was that it didn’t seem to work that well and was very painful. Like barely any local anesthetic painful. Most people said that lipo was actually better. Maybe someone else on here has a better experience than the reviews my mom read.

I enquired about this a year ago at the cosmetic surgery clinic where I got my microblading done. I am starting to get a bit of a belly after having a baby and indulging in chips and sweets just a bit too much over the last few years.  The surgeon met with me for a consulation and examined me and said I was not a good candidate and I can’t get it done because I didn’t have enough flab. He said he could see my abs and I’m in excellent shape. I liked that he didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need just to make money and I was flattered by what he said, but at the same time, I was disappointed. I guess I was hoping for a quick fix but now I have to exercise more. LOL!  I heard that it is painful and you need to have quite a bit of fat cells to work with.  The cost is around $1000 per treatment and you would need several treatments to see results, so it’s expensive.  The best thing to do is visit a cosmetic surgery clinic near you and get a consultation to see if you would be a good candidate and then they can give you an idea of how many treatments you would need to achieve good results.

I have looked into it, and am intriqued.  I am only 115 lbs, but have stubborn fat around my midsection/lovehandles that I can’t get rid of after having all my kids.  I have heard mixed reviews to be honest.

I’ve been intrigued by it, too.  One of my coworker is planning on going for a consultation.  If she has the procedure done, I’ll be sure to post about her experience!

sunnierdaysahead2 :  I’ve been interested in it too.  One of the YouTubers I follow had it done, and from what I’ve read, the best candidates are already pretty fit but have a little stubborn fat they’d like to lose.  Most of the before and after photos I’ve seen are after two sessions, and I’ve seen it priced at $700+ per session in my HCOL city.

I’ve not done it, but following in hopes that someone here has!

I have had it done on my arms. 3 sessions x 1 hour each. It didn’t hurt, just BORING.

I was insecure about my arms and it gave me that little bit of confidence. It’s not anything DRASTIC, but enough for what I wanted to achieve.
