I’m actually doing it now because my eating greasy foods got way out of control & my weight shot up over this past year. I think it’s a super healthy & smart way of eating really- it’s my goal to start eating this way permenantly (Phase II, not the initial first few weeks), as opposed to being ‘on a diet’.

I just talked to my sister about what a regular meal for her is, she lost a lot of weight at first, stopped and now has lost another 50!!! She went from 320 pounds to 170! She looks like a completely different person. I know for me money and fast meals with little effort is important to keep me on a diet. My sister is the same way. Thought it might help to see a somewhat typical meal for her…
Yesterday this is what she had…
Slimfast for breakfast (low-carb one)
nuts for a snack (south beach diet mix)
Two hot dogs sliced down the middle with cheese on the top (sorry don’t know what kind/brand but its an all beef or something like that with low fat cheese)
more nuts for a snack (she will also substitute veggies a lot but she was at work all day).
Grilled Chicken for Dinner (Great Value brand at Walmart) with a frozen broccoli with cheese meal (10 for 10 at Walmart).
South Beach Cheesecake Mousse for snack/dessert.
She’s still doing phase 2 because she hasn’t reached her goal weight yet but she will allow herself to “cheat” on weekends. For example we are going Friday for Mexican and Margaritas!
*Also because she’s been doing this for awhile she knows what works for her. She does get tired of eating the same things but she says she does it because its easy for her and trying out new recipes is hard for her. Hope this helped a little.
