I attended a wedding and the favors were personalized wine glasses with the couples names printed on the glass.. but I really didnt understand that and wasnt 100% if we were supposed to take it or not. It felt a bit odd to walk away with some of the dinner ware

One of my friends did wine glasses for her favor! It had a “W” for their last name as well as the date! it was so cute! Great idea. She also made little wine glass charms to put around the stem with the guest names on it, made it easy to make sure you took your own glass home! I love this idea!

@Mrs.MedinaJr: check online too  – we ordered them online and they got shipped in the perfect boxes for transporting to the venue

i love stemless though ๐Ÿ™‚ i usually use those at home. i put a little thank you sticker on ous so i hope people will know to take them home. if you were going to personalize them have you thought of doing their names? and maybe using them as placecards as well? i would def take home a wine glass – even better if Fiance is with me and we get 2 matching ones ๐Ÿ™‚

no, but with the charms on it you could tell it was meant to be taken…and why would the bride and groom want to keep 200 glasses with their initial and date on it?! lol ๐Ÿ™‚ the wedding was in the fall so my friend used shrinkadinks (sp) and they were leaves. basically it is normal size, she wrote guest names and then colored, put it in the oven and they shrink without disturbing the shape or anything. She took a wire and some beads and hooked the tiny leaf onto each glass, when I get home from work I will try and post a picture. But I would think you could easily put a cute little note on the glass, maybe instead of a charm you could use ribbon to tie it on saying something like “Enjoy a glass on us!” or something, that could be really cute.
