@sugarcube:  I think I’m getting it now.  I feel terrible.  =/  I know a lot of people though that felt like that.  I thought it was just an allergies thing because they’ve been so bad this year.

I had a really bad cough for about five weeks at the end of the summer! It was terrible and I just couldn’t get rid of it haha. It gradually went away and days of no coughing couldn’t come soon enough!

I’ve also been sick for about a year (nausea and cramping everyday, so horrible!!) and the other day I finally had my first abnormal blood test so now there’s actually hope for a diagnosis (yay!!!) it took so long to actually find something that proved I had a physical illness. Plus all the doctors I’ve been able to get into have been horrible haha.

II do hear that there is something similar going around here that was turning into pneumonia., but if it were that, you wouldn’t be able to function at all.  My step daughter in law couldn’t come to the wedding because she had something similar that turned into pneumonia and she has the added fun of a 3 year old and a 2 month old to take care of.

Be grateful it’s not something chronic, or life threatening.  I have a herniated disc in my neck that flares up and causes all kind of aggravation and pain, and this has been going on for three years.  And the cause – because I’m getting older and the discs just wear out!

Ugh, I was sick as a dog last week.  I’m feeling better for the most part, but I’ve still got a nagging cough and the sniffles.  And, I’m still worn out! πŸ™  Go away!!

Ugh.  I hate how they write it off.  I feel your pain though right now.  I can’t stop sneezing.

@dkacerek:  Wrong there is something called walking pneumonia you can have pneumonia and not be completely out of it.

OP: Please go to the dr you can have an infection and no fever. I get a lot of sinus infections without fever. It never hurts to be checked.

@sugarcube:  I have. Mine is a combo of allergies and an actual cold that Im getting over now. the nagging symptoms were allergies so I would suggest maybe taking an allergy pill to see if that works for the nagging little symptoms. The cold I had lasted about a full week for me at its worst and then a few days at the beginning and end where I was building up to its worst and coming down from the worst. I swear though its going around quickly. My son had it (got it from school of course) then a girl I work with had it and it was just inevitable that I was going to get it. Now my boss has it and another girl I work with. Its traveling around my office and through the kids at my son’s school. So there is for sure a nasty something going around.

I was sick for almost 3 months a couple years ago. It was the “hospital crud” I had been warned about. (I work at a hospital. They say that sometime in the first year or two you work there, you’ll get just generally sick for a while; it’s all the germs from sick people wearing on your system and your system finally gives in and you get sick, a general “blah” but not sick enough to stay home type of deal. But I guess after you’ve had “the crud”, usually you don’t get sick very often at all, since you’ve been exposed to so much stuff and built up immunity.) I felt like I was never going to get better!

Feel better soon, sugarcube!
